taking a different path

After I finished primary school, my father wanted my brother and I to become farmers with him. Instead, became an apprentice for a clerk. When I turned the age of twenty-two, I became a captain of a cargo ship that was headed out to the West Indies.

I like how your posts tell a story. There is a real cohesion in how the posts read and I feel like I'm learning a lot about Langdon.
